2007- As a first time Mom, it was terribly hard to leave my child at daycare. I felt very comfortable with Kelly and her children immediately after our first visit. In the last nine months Kira has thrived in this loving environment. Kira is speaking extremely well and growing by leaps and bounds. I know when I drop my daughter off in the morning she is watched and loved like I would watch her. She is excited and ready to start the day at My Kids & Company. I would recommend this home daycare to anyone who is a new parent or one that is an old pro. The love, care and education my daughter receives is exemplary. I feel fortunate to have found Kelly and the care that so many of us first time Mom's look for. -April
2008- My 13 month old son, Marlon has been attending Kelly’s home daycare. He and I have both been very happy with the care provided by Kelly. In fact, I feel incredibly luck to have found such a terrific situation for my son. Kelly provides a wholesome blend of professionalism and warm-hearted care for the children who attend her day care. She is someone who I have come to rely on and has been cooperative in providing extended hours of care when I have needed it and takes great joy in all of Marlon’s accomplishments. Marlon has learned to crawl and to walk since he started attending Kelly’s daycare. And Kelly helped him make me a special piece of artwork for my birthday. As a new mother, I was looking for any available resources for everything from what to feed a baby an when the baby should take a nap. I used Kelly’s daycare schedule to establish my son’s daily routine and have often sought her advice regarding everything from meal ideas to what size of diapers to use. As an experienced mother of two children, Kelly has been a great resource. If my son grows up to be half as sweet as Kelly’s son, I will be a happy mom. I feel completely comfortable leaving Marlon in Kelly’s care and would not hesitate to recommend her to other parents. And my son is having a terrific time. -Therese Williams

July 22, 2011-My son has been attending Kelly's day care for more than 3 years. He loves it and I love it. Kelly has been a fabulous resource for me as a new, single mother (not so new now). My son has learned so much from her. He actually likes to clean! When he is with Kelly, I know that he is safe and loved. He is moving on to pre-school this fall. We are SO going to miss Kelly and all his friends at day care. Kids & Company is really like a family. All the kids are happy and play together well. Kelly keeps the days interesting with projects like art work and reading and learning to write their names. We feel lucky to have been a part of it. -Tery Williams
June 17, 2011-Our 2 1/2 year old son has been attending My Kids & Company Childcare for over a year. Finding Raquel "Kelly" has been a huge blessing! June 16, 2011-Kelly has taken care of my little boy since he was 5mths old. He absolutely loves going to daycare and most of all, he loves Kelly. She helped me get him into a routine as a baby, and continues to help me with my toddler. Nothing was ever out of her helping zone and with time and patience, I have a happy child. She has a great group of kids in the daycare who all get on so well with each other, as they are almost family while in Kelly's care. Ruairi is now recognizing his letters and his numbers and continues to grow in both life skills and academics. July 23, 2011-Kids & Company has a special place in my heart; Ms. Raquel was my baby when she was a baby. I was her first care provider; I too operate a large family childcare in Lafayette CA. July 29, 2011-When I became friends with Raquel, she was working in a corporate environment in an executive position. At that time she voiced to me her unhappiness with the position; she felt like she was surrounded by a stifling environment lacking laughter and love. She also expressed to me her vision and inspiration to have her own daycare center where she could raise her own children while being surrounded by other magnificent little lives. I supported her then in this choice and was of no surprise to me when I found her pursuing her DREAM. Since then, I have watched her dedicate her time to achieve and full-fill that goal!
